A secure lossless recovery for medical images based on image encoding and data self-embedding

To protect the security of data outsourced to cloud, tampers detection and recovery for image have aroused concern people. A secure tampering lossless medical images (MI) using permutation ordered binary (POB) number system is proposed. In proposed scheme, region interest (ROI) MI first extracted, then, ROI divided into some no-overlapping blocks, encoding conducted on these blocks based better compression performance JPEG-LS image. After that, generated by all are high 4-bit low planes, shuffling combination used generate two plane images. Owing substantial redundancies space in compressed data, each spread size original Lastly, authentication bits obtained every pixel inserted itself within plane, corresponding 10-bit transformed POB value 8-bit. Furthermore, encryption implemented above produce shares which can be cloud server. The users detect tampered part recover when they down load from cloud. Extensive experiments ordinary COVID-19 datasets show that approach locate parts MI, recovered without any loss even if one totally destroyed, or at ration not more than 50%. Some comparisons analysis given scheme.
